We had a long week so on Friday, we took time to drive to the Chattooga River because there’s a small, shallow beach where a little brown dog can play.

The river is so wild and swift that there’s no way that Wessy can swim out far.

She would be gone down river in an instant! This is such a beautiful area in summer. The bridge in is photo is the crossing over point to either South Carolina or Georgia.

The shallow water was created by someone or a group of people, who carried rock out into the river creating a dam. Perfect for a little brown dog.

Plus, we are still looking for sticks of all shapes and sizes.

In fact, we found two sticks put together that looked like a cross, and we just HAD to go see them. We pulled and pulled and stretched and then . . .

We pulled Mom straight into the water . That’s when things got fun.
