I really wanted to play Windham Hill music while I was up at Roan Mountain this past weekend. It would have been perfect for the setting, but I got so involved with the camera that I forgot to plug in my iPhone and my iTunes!

I think I was looking for the lamp post from Narnia in this one!

And maybe in this one, too! I love the way the branches of the trees line up. It was such an awesome setting.

The forest floor was littered with new trees. . . .

and tiny pine cones—everywhere!!
