Saturday was a special day. I got to meet a long time history buff that writes and lives part time near Sautee, Georgia. Then I had the opportunity to photograph these unbelievable birds. The rain was coming down and I was at the Hardman Farms in Sautee. Even though the weather was grey, we had a great time talking with the people and enjoying the wild life. There is always some new experience close by in northeast Georgia!
These amazing falcons were there with their handlers, and they really put on a show for us.
They patiently posed and then sized me up!
Then one of the handlers wanted his falcon to pose on a very wet pumpkin! So slippery.
Then there was this young bird, who could not stop crying out especially after seeing my camera. He was a falcon with an attitude!
It was really a joy to be in the presence of these wonderful birds.
