I love the fact that I can drive about 10 minutes and be at Walker Creek. Last Saturday, the river was so still. No dam releases by Georgia Power! So the river was like glass and we could paddle anywhere without a problem. This meant going down stream and back up stream easily. Love this [...]
A week ago I had the opportunity to help "put up corn" for Paradise Mountain Ministries in Toccoa. I'm so grateful to God for allowing me to serve these folks in anyway possible. These are the faces of third culture kids who come from all around the world to go to college and then return [...]

Taken in one of the bedrooms at Traveler's Rest in Toccoa. Lots of history tucked away in this old inn that overlooks the beginning of the Unicoi Road/Trail. Simply sweet. I love pine cones and I love them placed together on wooden surfaces.
Recently, James (who has helped me with videos in Atlanta) was up in Toccoa to help me produce a video for Paradise Mountain Ministries. The really cool thing is that we were doing this video in promotion of Paradise adding a third house for Third Culture Kids (TCKs). This photo is of the really sweet [...]
