I’m still trying to decide if I like this photo or not. But my goal is to post every day. So, I may not fully “love” everything that I put on this site. A student worker with me thinks it is fun, and that is really all that counts at this point. What is life all about if you can’t have some fun.
This shot is of a natural beach on the Chattooga River. There’s easy access to one of the larger rapids (Bull Sluice) and also to this area. Just check the map. You want to take 441 north to Rabun County and turn right on to Warwoman Road. Stay on this road until it crosses the river. There is a large parking area (on the left) overlooking a short trail where people put in and pull out canoes and kayaks.
This is a beautiful area and dogs are welcome but the trail is short. Because of the the terrain (lots of large rocks), Cocoa gives this hike two and a half dog paws.
