Amy Grant has a new album that contains a song that sort of fits some of the way I felt in this photo while recently trying to wash mud off my leather hiking shoes. It opens like this: “Life can change in the blink of an eye; you don’t know when and you don’t know why.”

It’s all a part of my tale of two cities—where I work and then were I go to rest on most weekends. Two years ago, I never thought I would be walking a job site with some really nice people doing video for marketing purposes. But I do this often now and by the end of the summer we could have close to 15 videos that we’ll use to talk about the design ability of CDH Partners.

One of the things that I have learned over this past year and a half is that windows this tall are called a “window wall.” Makes sense. And it often is referred to as glazing, which is used to bring the outside inside for a more natural feel. The atmosphere created in spaces like this one help those who use it feel more relaxed but energetic at the same time.

This area is a part of a very large Atlanta High School that will contain a performing arts center, an outdoor grass terraced amphitheater, technical labs, and an art studio.

Here’s the Nine Line Video team shooting shadows on a wall. Which reminds me of another song, “Oh, I’m bein’ followed by a moonshadow, moonshadow, moonshadow; leapin and hoppin’ on a moonshadow, moonshadow, moonshadow.” That’s weird!
