I love this place. So many, many memories were built here on St. Simon’s. So, many hours spent here. Some things just never change and the King and Prince is pretty much one of those places.

So, it was a Perfect Day as Cokie Berenyi would say. We took kayaks out to Sea Island in the morning and then found ourselves relaxing on the patio in the afternoon. Little did any of us know that in just a few short days all of our moms, with the exception of Pat, would see our moms in deep need.

A misty afternoon beside the beach just makes you feel all warm inside.

Guess what? They still play cards on the patios at The King and Prince—just like always.

And the little Flag Irises are just as beautiful as ever!
