I drove up to the house in Toccoa and found this waiting for me one weekend. Then the following weekend, I discovered the stack had grown . . . (!)

and so had my love for the outdoor fireplace. This past weekend we braved record low temperatures (for this time of the year) just to sit in front of the fireplace! But the fellowship was great and the fireplace worked wonderfully. When a friend was leaving, she said, “You know, I think those things are more for ambiance than for warmth.” I couldn’t agree more.
