At first we were all smiles due to the anticipation of ice cream! Jo’s dad was at the counter working through the selection. But her first two choices were not available and the mood shifted a little. . . .
So we all went back to the “drawing board.” The list was long but the actual selection was not. Boo. I never understand why ice cream places post what they have if they don’t have it. I don’t think Jo understood this either.
Finally, we settled for plain chocolate. Cocoa Joy would have approved but she wasn’t with us. Dolly approved but she never had the chance to taste it.
Eating ice cream can be a dreamy experience.
