I started my day off here at Mountain Biscuits near Kennesaw Mountain. But I’ll need to go back because it was a quick, “drop in visit” and off I went to Toccoa,

Where I had lunch with friends at BJ’s—a local favorite.

The owners chose not to cover up the original brick walls and they also left the tin ceilings but added new hardwood floors. To learn more about the history of Toccoa you can order the book Toccoa: Images of America on Amazon. Or you can pick one up at local Toccoa bookstore including Gate Cottage. And be sure to check out my other blog called Living in Stephens County where I have posted lots of photos of the area in and around beautiful Toccoa.
