I have always loved the trees on Cumberland Island. This shot does not really show the size correctly. Where I am sitting is about 10 feet above the ground! Along with towering sand dunes, the island's Live Oaks protect Cumberland from sever weather and high seas.
If you have never been to Cumberland Island, you have missed at treat. Wild, winding pathways, a continuous canopy of trees leads to one thing: a dramatic environment!
