I’m getting soooo ready for spring to hit. These photos are from last year before all the sickness and physical problems and current rain hit. While I’m still not at my strongest, I’m ready to try my hand at getting back outside and on some hiking trail even if it is a simple and easy one.
I’m ready to see the Trillium pop up and bloom.
This is one of my favorite varieties of Trillium sessile. These plants live in rich, moist woodlands.
Then there are the blackberries that come into play later in spring. Usually we have a “Blackberry” winter when these bushes are blooming. My grandmother would always say that we have to have cold weather later in spring so the “blackberries will bloom.”
These little guys are just plain beautiful. Nothing else to say about them.
