North Carolina is really the best place to hunt down waterfalls. Dry Falls earned its name because you can walk behind it, but I’ll be the first one to say that you don’t stay dry! Notice the people in the photo and how small they are. That lets you know how large Dry Falls is.

Bridal Veil Falls with a rainbow at the base. The sun was perfect. You can usually drive behind this one.

Wild and untamed Cullasaja Falls. It’s been a favorite since I first started visiting the Highlands area.
