I always like to post a “parting shot” from Christmas each year. This year I ended up visiting this little Clarkesville church again. It’s a favorite photography subject. Years ago Clarence Wulf introduced me to it, and he still stops often to photograph it and I do, too.

I don’t understand how the light always seems so beautiful in this structure, but it does. I have a feeling it’s the natural light spilling in from outside through the large wall windows. Most of these contain original leaded glass. Amazingly and by the providence of God, this church manages to stay safe even though it is open to the public every day.

Goodbye Christmas 2015!
