Oh, summer flowers and now in mid August they are beginning to fade.
But when I first stopped along the roadway to take these photos they were just opening up.
My mother always had Queen Anne’s Lace growing throughout her garden. She told me once that it could come up wherever it wanted to grow, and she dared my father to seek to remove it!
It opens up with a hint of pink and newness.
Here it is before he even flowers.
