And so the rain goes on and on and one. But we have the promise of a sunny Sunday, which means time with the dogs outside! Below is a photo of the same area in the fall of 2012! I love the seasons in north Georgia. Years ago, I lived in Savannah and the one thing that I missed the most was the change in seasons. But believe it or not, the beach actually does have “seasons.” It changes colors but not with the drama of the mountains.

I love Hemlocks–a friend once told me that they attract mosquitos but I’m sort of over that and think I may try another one at the Toccoa Cottage.

The pathway to nowhere . . . well, actually it goes to another parking area near Tallulah Gorge.
