Last weekend while on a walk with Cocoa, I noticed that she had stopped and was looking up at me. My heart melted as I realized all over again what a gift I had been given by having her. Then I asked, “Can you smile for me?” Because I didn’t have a dog treat, the smile was not as bright as usual but the eyes certainly were twinkling! I love this dog!

Woodrow Wilson wrote: “If a dog will not come to you after having looked you in the face, you should go home and examine your conscience.”
