Sunday these trees were barely tipping in green, but three days has made a huge difference. Kennesaw Mountain is waking up after being asleep for an entire winter. The trees are turning green, green, green. I can almost hear Lucy in Prince Caspian: The Chronicles of Narnia calling to them: “Wake Up! Wake up!”

Here’s some trivia: The inscription on the blade of Peter’s sword in the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe reads, “When Aslan shakes his mane, Narnia shall know spring again.” That always makes me smile.
