I was amazed at this guy who was hunting for fish along the James River. I think the wildlife of this area is so accustomed to having tourists around that it is just not a “bother” to have a photo taken. He was really smart looking in the sunset.
This is the evening view that our ancestors—those who helped to settle Jamestown—had of the James River. It was quiet, peaceful, and so inviting. You can easily understand why they believed they could “have a go of it” in America.
