Imagine what it was for Lewis to sit near this window and write while looking out over this view.
I hate to admit this . . .but I forgot what we were told about these flowers. I know that the plant was rooted from a flower that was used in the wedding of one of Lewis' friends. Perhaps, someone connected with the Lewis Foundation will stumble on this site and answer this puzzle.
Every morning Lewis would get up and go for a swim. We were told that he did this regardless of the weather! Surely, he did not do this when it was snowing.

Lewis had the steps and the second floor door installed after purchasing the Kilns. He could leave his room on the second floor without disturbing anyone. Notice that the small sign in the upper left portion of the building says, "The Kilns."
