Grove Park Inn: I wish I had a photo of the Inn from years ago when I would drive up to Asheville with my friends. Back then, the other wings of the Inn had not been added. To be honest, I think it would almost shut down in the winter. That is not the case today. It is busy, busy, busy!

We gave our cameras to two older women, who at first, reluctantly agreed to take our photo. Thus, the shaky look in low light. But once they got the hang of taking photos with larger cameras, they snapped off quite a few! Yikes!!

Wood enough for the massive fireplace.

Thoughtful—Anne.

I remember the green of the terraces behind the hotel, but this is winter and the landscape has really changed over the years. Still, the hotel is beautiful and so indicative of the Arts and Crafts movement in architecture.
