I continued to celebrate my birthday this past weekend and enjoyed a fun ride up to Highlands, North Carolina, where the last of the summer flowers were still beautiful.
Pat and Anne decide what dessert we’ll have after dinner. I think our favorite place in Highlands has to be the Market. We run around the store buying things to eat and ordering pizza! Beth bought me a bottle of dark chocolate balsam vinaigrette. It is just flat out delicious on salads. We lost our minds and mixed it with fresh Rosemary oil and put it on our pizza crust.
On the way back home, we stopped to take photos of the early arriving colours of fall.
