After we were out on the lake most of the day, Anne brought ribs and a fire starter kit for the fireplace. It’s from Gumlog!. So I had a famous Gumlog fire starter kit on my hands—just like the ones people at the lake buy. (smile)

And then we built the first in the new fireplace.

I had the weirdest thing happen at work last week. I was talking to the head of our interior studio  and I told her that I felt like I would get an outdoor fireplace for the patio. She said, “Better get it sooner rather than later.” I have no idea why she said that, but when I got to the lake today, Anne has this fireplace ready to go for me. It is a perfect fit for the patio!
