I’m still adjusting to living two hours south of northeast Georgia and two to three weeks earlier in the “blooming” season. Just this week, I noticed the Magnolia trees in this area are full with blooms, and I thought nothing says I live in the South better than a photo of a Magnolia! (Well, maybe a photo of a sweaty glass of ice tea—sweetened to perfection—would work.) For some reason, I didn’t want to post a photo of a Magnolia that was already open or one that was on it’s way to being spoiled. I wanted to photograph one that was just opening up as if it was already anticipating the coming of the morning sun.
A Southern Morning
