I have always—for years and years—seen photos of the deer at Berry College. Finally, this past weekend, I began to photograph them, too. I need to work on “keeping my photos sharp in low light.” But as a beginner “deer” photographer, I had a lot of fun. Chipley, of course went nuts until he was told that they were “cows and friends.” Then there was total acceptance.

Once I got Chipley settled, I began to see deer everywhere. This one was just walking casually through a field until from out of nowhere another deer appeared and blew past her.

Zooooooom. Chip went nuts at the sight of that and the other deer reacted quickly.

Then she looked up at me as if to say: “Woe! Did you see that?! That was nuts!”
