I love the colors of summer, especially in the mountains. The greens are so rich and vibrant. Last Sunday before the rain returned, we hiked up into the mountains and took photos of this wonderful view.

Sometimes when I’m at this spot I look for hawks and usually they show up! But not today. Well, we saw one but he did not cue up over the falls.

Another view from the “center” looking out on the Chattaoochee National Forest. This is always a great summer hike and one of the most beautiful spots in the Stephens County area.

This is Glenn Falls, which is the location of many picnics (dating back to the early 1900’s) and the refreshing  destination of lots of hikers!
