On Saturday, I slipped in Grace-Calvary Episcopal Church in Clarkesville to photograph their Easter flowers. I guess some of you know by now that this is one of my favorite places to photograph. Even before I left Toccoa, I knew the church would be ready for Sunday morning, and I was right.
It’s a quiet little church that evidently is pretty active in the community. I’m not going to give away its exact location because it’s on the national historical register and is very accessible. No need to see it develop into a tourist destination!
The Dogwood trees have been especially beautiful this spring. This one is completely wild and is located in the middle of 1,100 acres wild and unsettled land that includes forest and hiking trails.
