I love taking the SUV up to our property above the falls where there is total quiet and no one else around. But I never go far unless I have a “pack” of people with me.

I showed this photo to Kelly Vickers this afternoon and he said that Leon Gathney is convinced that there once had been a house near this location. Trees sometimes tell the story about the land and where a family shared the landscape with them or not. Older trees that have that “close” appearance really do look like they once sheltered and shaded a family’s home place.
