For days, I have “loitered” around an attractive but abandoned city lot in hopes of taking a good photo of the wisteria that is there. Once it began to bloom, it was spectacular. This early morning photo has a splash of sunlight across the wisteria’s petals. The D200 struggled to capture the image. Finally I pulled out my trusty D40 and took this photo. Here’s what I have discovered about wisteria: at best; its illusive. It winds its way into our hearts because it is a very romantic, but that’s about it . . .  Well, except it is a very southern plant and well worthy of a decent photograph.
