Thankful for many things this year but most of all for the love of family and friends. Saturday noon was spent with Anne and her family.

Then Pat baked pies to take to my Mom later in the afternoon.

My Mom and me. . . we still miss my Dad a lot but we have one another.

Beautiful northeast Georgia and home, finally: I can stay that after four years spent in the Atlanta area.

Thanksgiving Day: Black Rock Mountain, just a little north of Toccoa, was still draped in fall colors and also smoke from the wild fires that continue to burn in the area. We been told that rain is on the way and that would put an end to the fires and smoke!
