I think that a “rose by any name” is beautiful. These were on Pelee Island and I know that we have the same thing here but I just enjoyed photographing them.

I didn’t make a big deal of the photos I took—just snapped the sunset as it washed over these gentle flowers.

Oliver Wendell Holmes wrote, “Friendship is the breathing rose, with sweets in every fold.”
