I think winter days on top of Currahee Mountain suit Cocoa really well. She loves the tall grass and we have found a place to lay down and be warmed in the sunshine. She watches everything. In this photo, she’s looking for Chip but he never joins us. He’s been banished to the car with friends because he was doing things he should not do! Poor Chippy!
Now, she is watching the birds circle. Below are some of the farms in Stephens County.
She still has golden eyes that grab my heart’s attention.
A young woman, who was climbing up the face of Currahee, stopped to talk with us. She is a Sustainable Design major at Toccoa Falls. When the guys below her shouted for her to hurry up, she shouted back and said, “I’m talking to my new friend!” Cocoa liked that a lot.
