The Trees

Theme for yesterday was a rainy heart, but today it’s nothing but blue sky even if a cloud or two lingers! (smile)

Fresh Cut Flowers

This past Saturday morning I took the dogs for a ride in the mountains and we found a field where these flowers were being raised. The lady who owns it told me that the only things that would grow there were Sunflowers, Zinnias (like the ones in this photo), and corn! The flowers were rows deep and so beautiful.

These Zinnias will bloom from mid-summer to frost.

Saturday

Filed under: The Company of Friends

My day began with this and plenty of coffee. BJ’s is the best!

It included a quick stop to buy sunflowers for a party with friends.

Then there was dinner and time to talk and play with paper dolls.

We celebrated with Rebecca and Albert and Johanna.

And here is how we ended the day. Pretty perfect. Thank You, God.
