This photo isn’t the best because we were in very low light plus it was taken with my iPhone. Still everyone was all smiles, and it was great being with friends from First Baptist Atlanta again.

People always want to know where Cocoa and Chip stay while I’m in Atlanta. I explain that they truly have it made at Bark Avenue, but I guess you have to “see” the atmosphere of the place to understand what I mean. This was taken in the lobby and is pretty much the way things are for all the puppies that stay here. It is really “ruff” stuff. Okay . . . not every room is exactly like this with leather sofas! But it’s pretty nice—flat screen TVs and much more.

Our professor of Photography (and my good friend) Clarence Wulf explains what it means to take a good photo. He teaches students who are preparing to go to the mission field and other places of service how to use a camera. Some have never even held a DSLR camera. My Barnabas group took a few minutes yesterday to look at the work of their peers and talk with Clarence about his winterim class.

We were hiking at Tallulah Gorge today and ran into some of our TFC students.

Classes don’t begin until Tuesday and offices are closed tomorrow, which meant we could just chill and enjoy being with Cocoa Joy and Chip a little longer.

My good friend Ann always loved smiley faces. When we worked together in Atlanta, she had lots of these images hanging around. And because she was a graphic designer, it only seemed natural for her to collect these yellow guys. But that was then and this is now. Today, she is on the mission field with her husband on the other side of the world. Still, it is hard to see a happy face and not think of Annie. This one was located on the side of a hotel building in Chattanooga.

Dropped by this afternoon to see Taylor Jones at Whiteboard Network in Chattanooga, TN. We talked about our web sites, and I was so right: there was plenty of light in the office area, brick walls, a total crash pad and lots of creativity. I almost forgot to mention that there was plenty of good strong coffee. I’m so grateful for this team of professionals. Check out their work: tfc.edu.
