Too Much

Filed under: Fall and Winter in the Mountains, Hiking Through Northeast Georgia, Paw Prints

Cocoa is ready to go on a walk and not wanting to sit with me on this very slanted rock. We were at Black Mountain this past weekend and hiked a trail that is always fun in the winter because it is fairly kept up and safe. She’s talking to me in this photo and definitely saying, “Let me down and let’s GO!”

Here’s a photo of Black Mountain Lake. It’s located below the state park that is closed during the winter and is a beautiful location for walks and picnics.

Laughter

I came home today at lunch and caught the neighborhood cat hanging out on the patio. “Freckles,” I said, “Did you hear about the cat who drank 5 bowls of water? He set a new lap record.” That joke really didn’t make her laugh but the next one did. . . .

“Did you hear about the cat who swallowed a ball of wool? She had mittens!”

Lazy Sunday

On my way down the hall I happened to notice PJ “hanging out” in the living room. (smile)

Sleepy Baby

Filed under: Chip-ster the Cocker Spaniel, Paw Prints

I was home today and opened the blinds so Chipley and Cocoa could see outside, but the sun was too much for Cocoa. She quickly moved on to be nearer to me. Chip, however, hung out in the sunshine and ended up falling asleep sitting up.
