This sculpture was once part of the Parthenon.

The Rosetta Stone stands in the entrance to the room where the ancient Greek and Roman ruins are on display.

This place is awesome! It was free and very “child” friendly–not that this matters to our group.

On the way back to the bus, we managed to find a narrow lane. It was late in the day and while this area was almost deserted, the city of Oxford was teaming with people.

Here is the setting where Lewis wrote many of his books. Being there was an experience of a lifetime. The lady who was the Warden served tea and biscuits to us in the dining room where Lewis, Joy, and his brother usually had their meals.
