I’m working on a book, with another author, about the history of the city where I live. It’s basically a photography book with lots of interesting historical information. Amazingly as I worked last Sunday, Chip was totally content to hang out with me on the living room sofa. I told him, “Once this book is done, we’re heading out on a ‘road trip’ to some place special.”

And then there is Cocoa, who never fails to make me smile.

I was home today and opened the blinds so Chipley and Cocoa could see outside, but the sun was too much for Cocoa. She quickly moved on to be nearer to me. Chip, however, hung out in the sunshine and ended up falling asleep sitting up.

Someone has kissed this dog on the top of it’s head!

I’m not going to comment about the fact that these two have on the same color! But I will tell you that after this photo was taken, Chip began eating the snow—lots of it! In fact, he ate so much that he ended up back in the car because he wouldn’t stop. I guess obsessions really can hit without warning.
