Saturday evening I drove out along a country road (most are country up here) and saw this little gate. This setting seemed perfect for a late afternoon photograph. And then there was time to take a quick photo of Cocoa Joy smiling. (smile)

All day long, we had been singing “Over the river and through the woods to grandmother’s house we go.” Then we turned a corner and saw this scene and suddenly we felt as though we had reached a very warm destination—a destination as warm and welcoming as any grandma’s house.
