It really didn’t bother me that it had been raining the day I chose to go to Gibbs Gardens. Don’t get me wrong: I would have loved to sit in the sunshine near the cafe and taken in all the beautiful scenery. But that didn’t happen, and it was okay. The flowers were lovely as ever and the rain drops only enhance their beauty.

Even the ones that were not open had a special touch of wonder.

As always there were acres of daffodils—all varieties and ones that were blooming early, mid season, and late. The sight was spectacular!

The Japanese Garden was as peaceful and gorgeous as ever!

Then there were the little guys that sort of hid along the footpaths. They are just as sweet as the other flowers towering over them!
