One of the things I really enjoy about my job is getting to meet interesting people and also having the opportunity to work with guys like these: the Nine Line video team. I’m learning video—enough to be very dangerous—but they know it. And they are helping us produce many videos for our website: cdhpartners.com. Last week, we were at St. John Neumann Catholic Church to video the sanctuary and also interview two of the men who worked or advised our design team on its construction.

The beauty of the Baptismal Font caused all of us to pause in quietness.

Then this gentleman explained how many of the wood elements were crafted.

He even showed us how the pews were handcrafted at a certain height so a parishioner could bow and pray easily. This church was designed with the handicapped as a central focus. Even the flooring is notched out for people who are blind. Nick, whose family is from Iran, dipped his hand in the pool that also serves as the main church font. Yes, we even video the flooring, especially when it is this beautiful as this one is.
