This past Saturday as we walked the Unicoi Turnpike, I couldn’t help but notice the trees. I think this one was already dressed for Christmas!
And these looked like the trees of Narnia in the book “Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe!”
These are festive trees providing a sheltering cover for Indian Springs. Actually, I had plenty of time to contemplate their color and existence as I waited to be pulled out of two feet of leaf-covered mud!
When I got stuck, I thought, Don’t panic. You have four-wheel drive and there is a way out of this. But then Evan walked calmly around to my driver’s side door and told me that there was no way I would get out without being pulled out! I still didn’t panic because I knew God would provide and He did! Perfectly!
