The colors are so rich this time of the year in western PA. And I’m all out of words. We have been with friends and then traveled out into the country to photograph Amish farms. This is not one though. However, what makes this so special according to Denny is that it is a wooden silo and there are not very many, if any, left in this part of the state.

When he was young, all the silos were wooden but not today. They are metal and not very quaint.

Falcon Farm still has one of the original ones. The late afternoon sunlight was just what we were looking for to make everything just a little more inviting.
