Lewis’ Pond @ Lewis Close

True confession: I have been so busy moving my mom and dad to a senior living community that I have not had time to take any photos for this blog. Last night was the first evening in weeks that I had the opportunity to rest, and I decided to watch Shadowlands again for the umpteenth time. It always reminds me of being in England, of being in this spot above with friends, and of less trying times. I probably have posted another photo of this scene in the past but here it is again. It’s the pond behind C. S. Lewis’ home (at Lewis Close) and also where he would swim every morning—regardless of the weather. The man had a thing for hopping in ponds and canals for a quick swim.
