Hiking A Small Section of The AT
Posted by AR on January 27th, 2012 filed in Hiking Through Northeast Georgia, MemoriesI love the Appalachian Trail and a few weeks ago we took off on a small section just to see how it would feel to walk where so many through hikers travel. Cocoa was up for the trip—smiling and taking in all the sniffs. Chipley pulled wanting to charge ahead. The woods are fun places to be. They contain mystery, excitement, adventure, and . . . .
Bears! No sooner had we headed out we caught sight of a foreboding sign. It was enough of a warning to make us tuck our doggy tails turn around, and head back to the Walaski-Yi Center at Neels Gap!
