This past weekend the weather was glorious—no rain, no snow. A friend who came for a visit suggested that I take this photo and name it “Winter White.” There are so many buildings like this one in the mountains. It is hard to resist to photograph each one. The smoke that is to the left of this old barn is from the controlled burn in the national forest that I mentioned in an earlier post.

This week’s favorite thing to dislike: horses! I promise to take a video of this sort of thing because, especially when Chipley is concerned, it is pretty wild! He doesn’t like big animals while Cocoa thinks they are so coooooool. That’s the result of her Dog School 101 training.
