Christmas Isn’t Very Far Away

Grabbed a cup of coffee, a camera, and the dogs and drove up to the Old Sautee Store this afternoon where I took these photos and recalled what it was like to visit this place when I was a child. It was a good memory for a gray but very cozy afternoon.

Little ducks lined the windows and a huge Coca-Cola sign hung outside.

This is still one of my favorite websites to visit when I need to take a short break. I like where you live, and I hope that you have a Merry Christmas. Cocca and Chip seem to be bonding and seem to be healthy. Hope that you are doing well.

Carol,
Thanks for writing and for checking in on us. Yes, everyone is adjusting. We love the area—miss friends but love the mountains. And there are new friends and . . . students, lots of students. (smile) Hope you have a wonderful Christmas, too!
