I came into my room this morning and caught Cocoa falling asleep. She always watches me rush around and get ready for work. The sunlight was drifting in the windows, and I thought I would snap a photo of her. Then I wondered if I could get her to open her eyes a little more. How did I do it? I asked her if she wanted to go to Dog School 101 and see Sandy and Xalina? The answer to that question is found in her eyes below.

I promise no photoshop was involved. Just the thought of playing with her friends brings her to life. We’ll see them again on Saturday.

Miss J’s mom sent this to me this morning, and I just had to post it. Sorry “Mom.” but it made me laugh when I saw “little Miss J” peeking at the photographer to her right. She so belongs at this college!

I know he is such a pretty boy, but let me tell you: HE IS All BOY! He is sweet and he is also a holy terror. However, you sure wouldn’t know it from this photo. Tomorrow is Cocoa Joy’s turn.

The students are on fall break—and faculty members are, too. But we have reminders that they’ll soon be back.
