Enrolling in College?

It was late in the day, but Cocoa Joy showed up at the admin building hoping to preregister for classes at Toccoa Falls College. She had all her paper work in order—two diplomas from Dog School 101 including all her Delta Society papers. But VP for Academic Affairs Barbara Bellefeuille said it would be best if she took some “refresher” courses before returning to the classroom. So, we’re heading back to Atlanta on Saturday where she will take Trick Class 201 (TC201) with one of her favorite trainers Xalina, who is also one of the owners at DS101. Then I’m sure she will be ready to hit the books by the fall semester!

Thought I would post a photo of the first sunlight at the falls. Whenever I have a chance, I like to begin the day at this spot. Below is an early morning view of the gorge and the falls.

Checking Out The New Neighbors

Decided to take the dogs for a walk last night and guess who I ran into? . . . The new neighbors who just happened to be passing by. Since I was heading to the center of campus with Cocoa Joy and Chip, I had the camera with me and quickly grabbed this shot.

Well, this isn’t exactly in my backyard, but it’s on the campus of Toccoa Falls College and just a short distance from where I live. Below is the way this area looked a little over 100 years ago.
