    Angie,

    When I was in Tn. my elderly Aunt took me to a new Memorial Park to show me printed on brick’s, names of all my uncle’s and cousin’d that served in different wars. It was a special Day.

    There is a picture that I took of the Vietnam memorial in 1994 that still gives me a lump in my throat.

    My uncle George- the historian of the family-and I always have good conversations on this holiday- The latest story was of my dad and how his boot camp was different from his other brothers…

    Albert,
    I actually thought of your father when I took this, but I also thought of the WWII vet that met a couple of years ago. It was an honor to thank him for what he had done for me. He fought for my freedom.
