Keeping A Vigil

I love this dog’s head even though it is a little unkept right now. You can see her curls beginning to appear. Too bad she is scheduled to see the groomer this week. In this photo, she’s watching finches (below) feast on bird food.

Which one doesn’t belong? . . .  My tennis shoe!

It disappeared from my closet early in the morning but magically reappeared later in the den mixed up with a bone, a stuffed heart, Lambie, and the Aflac duck! A-FLAC!!

What’s With It?

greed

What’s with greed? A toy chest that overflows with “EEs,” and Cocoa Joy is relentless in her attempts to “steal” the cat’s one lone toy — a plastic ball with a bell that was probably purchased at WalMart.  “One lone” toy because that’s all he has, especially since anything he is given usually ends up in her mouth. Sigh.

Always Waiting

Born to be wild and born to lead! Cocoa Joy is always waiting on others to catch up. One of my biggest challenges with her is “heel.” Funny how the basic things hang with us throughout life. Mmmmm.

At The End of The Day

It must have been a hard day at Dog School. When I picked Cocoa up, she was outside with Sandy (her trainer) following her around like an emotionally starved puppy . . . or so I thought. Then I realized Sandy was packing Bil-Jac treats in her pocket! Need I say more?
